How vaccinations work against diseases?
In common parlance, vaccination is done to stimulate dog’s immune system so as to protect the body against diseases. When a foreign body or an antigen enters the dog’s body – it is recognized by the antibodies, which bind the antigen and destroy it. As far as the number of doses is concerned, it is really difficult to answer. However, a minimum of two multivalent vaccinations, which mainly include distemper and parvo are given over three months period.

In case of young puppies, vaccination can be done at six to eight weeks of age and should be given every 3 to 4 weeks until the puppy reaches almost 16 weeks of age.
